Michelle Walker is a Dallas-Fort Worth realtor focused on historic homes and neighborhoods, with a special focus on preservation, restoration, interior design, and redevelopment. As a board member of Preservation Dallas, and an Advanced Historic Home Specialist, she is passionate about mindful architectural preservation and design while looking forward to the future of Dallas. Michelle currently serves on the executive committee of Preservation Dallas as the Vice President of Preservation Issues. Over the last 6 years volunteering with Preservation Dallas, Michelle has served on the Young Professionals committee, Education committee, and chaired the Fall 2023 home tour and our first Art & Architecture event in Spring 2024.

 

Michelle has served on the city’s landmark commission task force for Winnetka Heights and Lake Cliff historic districts for 5 years, serving as chair for the past year. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in Spanish. She comes to real estate with prior experience in insurance accounting and taught high school Spanish in Dallas-area public schools for four years. Michelle is also an active member of the Junior League of Dallas to give back to local communities. In her free time she enjoys live music, yoga, and architecture photography.
